The University of Central Florida (UCF) is a research university located in Orlando, Florida. Founded in 1963, it initially operated as the Florida Technological University, with the primary goal of training personnel for NASA’s Kennedy Space Center. In 1978, following the expansion of its academic programs, it was renamed to University of Central Florida.

Today, UCF is the largest university in the U.S. by student population, with around 63,000 students from all 50 states and over 150 countries. The university continues to grow and develop, offering world-class education and research opportunities.
