Pacific Lutheran University (PLU) is a private university founded in 1890, located in Tacoma, Washington. The university is sponsored by more than 580 religious organizations. Currently, around 3,500 students are enrolled.
PLU has a spacious campus and is composed of five colleges:

- School of Education and Kinesiology
- School of Nursing
The university has held its current name since 1960.
Accommodation: All first-year students are guaranteed accommodation in one of the university's residence halls. A variety of single, double, triple, and quad rooms are available.
Cost of on-campus housing: $2,000 – $3,000 per semester
