Rhein-Waal University of Applied Sciences – a public university in Germany with campuses in Kleve and Kamp-Lintfort, founded in 2009. The university first opened its doors to students in the winter semester of 2009-2010, and by 2013, it had already enrolled 5,000 students.

Today, Rhein-Waal University of Applied Sciences has around 6,000 students across bachelor’s and master’s degree programs. The university's name comes from the Rhine and Waal rivers.
