University of Lincoln | United Kingdom is a private British university known not only for its high-quality education but also for its strong research initiatives, gaining global recognition.
The university traces its roots back to 1861, when it was originally founded as Humberside University, which gained university status in 1992. In 1996, it was renamed University of Lincolnshire and Humberside, and in 2001, it officially became the University of Lincoln.

The main Lincoln campus was inaugurated in 1996 by Her Majesty the Queen at Brayford Pool, a historically significant area of the city. The construction of the campus cost £170 million and resulted in state-of-the-art facilities. The university also has two additional campuses in Riseholme and Holbeach.
A unique annual tradition at the University of Lincoln is the graduation ceremony held at Lincoln’s medieval Cathedral, adding a historic touch to student achievements.

Lincoln is rapidly gaining international recognition for its focus on research and pioneering contributions across various disciplines.

The university offers a diverse range of modern facilities, including Great Central Warehouse Library, Sports Centre with a gym, four squash courts, fitness halls, and a dance studio, eight badminton and tennis courts, two basketball courts, two volleyball courts, two netball courts, two mini-football fields, The Engine Shed, a large concert hall, Lincoln Performing Arts Centre, Lincoln Science and Innovation Park.

The Lincoln Students’ Union was established alongside the university’s founding. It provides support, organizes events and charity initiatives, and manages student clubs and societies. The Union also runs The Shad pub, a popular social hub for students.

Accommodation:
The University of Lincoln offers a wide range of accommodation options, including on-campus residences, off-campus housing, and private rentals.
The university owns a "student village", a residential complex located on the Brayford Pool campus, in a scenic waterfront area. This self-catered complex consists of 17 apartment blocks, each housing 5–8 students. In total, the student village offers around 1,037 bedrooms.
