Keele University is a public research university in the UK, with a picturesque 620-acre campus near the town of Keele, featuring woodlands and lakes. The land was once the Sneyd family estate.

In 1949, the University College of North Staffordshire was founded on this site, and in 1962, it was granted university status and its current name by Royal Charter.
Today, Keele University boasts one of the largest campuses in the UK, blending medieval-style and modern architecture.

Keele University is situated 90 minutes from London and one hour from Birmingham, Liverpool, and Manchester. In addition to academic buildings, the campus includes an astronomical observatory, an art gallery, a tree nursery, shops, cafés, and social spaces, a science park, various sports facilities, a historic chapel (dating back to 1965).
Medical students have access to practical training at the Royal Stoke University Hospital and the Clinical Education Centre, both part of Keele’s dedicated medical campus.

The Keele Student Union oversees student life, sports, and cultural activities. It operates multiple bars, restaurants, a student newspaper, and a radio station. The university also has numerous sports clubs, from rugby and lacrosse to dodgeball. The Keele Sports Centre is the largest in Staffordshire, featuring two sports halls, a fitness center, a dance studio, a climbing wall, tennis courts, large outdoor sports fields.
