Edinburgh Napier University is a public university in Scotland, located in the city of Edinburgh.
The university's history dates back to 1964, when Napier Technical College was founded with just 800 students. Today, the university has grown to accommodate over 19,000 students! The university is named after the renowned 16th-century mathematician and philosopher John Napier. It officially received university status in 1992 and adopted its current name in 2009.

Edinburgh Napier University has three campuses: Craiglockhart, Merchiston, and Sighthill. Each campus is strategically located and provides students with excellent facilities for learning, research, and student life.

  • Craiglockhart Campus is home to the Business School, featuring lecture halls with 200 and 400 seats, language and multimedia laboratories, and an Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center.
  • Merchiston Campus is famous for its historic architecture, but inside, it houses state-of-the-art computer labs, TV, radio, and photography studios, as well as soundproof music studios.
  • Sighthill Campus is equipped with cutting-edge medical training facilities, including fully recreated hospital wards and clinical settings for students in the School of Health and Social Care. The campus also features sports science laboratories and the [EN]GAGE Sports Center.
The Edinburgh Napier Students’ Association (NSA) is an independent organization that provides support and assistance to students, offering guidance on academic and personal matters. It also organizes a wide range of sports and cultural events, clubs, and societies, ensuring an engaging and dynamic student experience.

Accommodation:
All first-year students are guaranteed university accommodation in one of Edinburgh Napier’s five student residences. All residences are self-catered, centrally located in Edinburgh, and well-secured.
Each residence includes fully equipped kitchens, Wi-Fi, and laundry facilities to ensure students have everything they need.
